ODM, Her+DataMCR & PyDataMcr present: DATA HORROR STORIES!!!!

Do you have a tale of bad stats, strange correlations, malicious intent or plain stupidity? Join us and share your Data Horror Stories!

Whether it’s the wrong house being demolished because of bad Google Maps data, drivers incorrectly having licences revoked by the DVLA, or a woman being mistaken for a car, Data Horror Stories are everywhere.

Around Halloween each year, ODM and friends come together to share eery experiences, scary stories and life lessons we’ve got while working with data.

There are number of five- to 10-minute speaker slots available now – so if you have something you’d like to share, drop an email to sam[at]opendatamanchester.org.uk.

Perhaps you have a tale you want to tell but don’t feel comfortable sharing it yourself? Then submit your own storyanonymously and we might read it out during the event.

There’ll also be some quick-fire slots available on the night too.
