Data Cooperatives Working Group – March 2022

An international group of academics and practitioners developing data-cooperative thinking as part of the Data Cooperatives Working Group.

Since 2014, Open Data Manchester has been exploring the century-old idea of a cooperative, rebooted for the 21st century, in the form of data cooperatives.

Late last year, we joined forces with Bangalore’s Aapti Institute to bring together people and organisations who are keen to work out exactly how this data stewardship model works in practice for the first meeting of the Data Cooperatives Working Group.
